I always enjoy any reason to call Grado and speak with the crew. I was happy to learn that my needed repair was a $12 part and that no shipping the headphones back-and-forth was required. I commented to my buddy with whom I was chatting while switching out the pieces “I feel closer to my Grados being able to effect the repair myself!” Plus, I love the word gimbal. Like grommet, I’ve not often the opportunity to use it. Thank you!

Great service, need more parts available for purchase

Gimbal rings easy to replace but all I really needed was one or two of the rubber caps that should keep the vertical bar from sliding and detaching from the mounting block. The original gimbal rings seem to be ok. I did not see the option on the website to buy just those rubber cap parts, which should not cost more than a few bucks, I think.
