Mark, You hit a Grand Slam with these Edison Rails, I love them easy to Install, Bright, and Durable seeds. I purchased 3 packages of the Edison Rails two packs of just the rails, and 1 package of the rails with the seeds already installed. Both types are Great my preference is the Rails without the seeds, Put you rails up via the supplied screws of the Automotive double side tape from VLS either works, then run your seeds and install the lens cap as you go. Use the 18ga. large seeds and wire from VLS they are bright sturdy and problem free as I have well over 10,000 of them without a single problem. The rails with the seeds I found a bit cumbersome to use especially if your doing a bunch of ladder work. They still have the good quality seeds in them. It's just a matter of personal preference. You can use these rails in all kinds of projects. Wish I saw these before I ran roof line in bullets. These are are a real game changer.
