Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus

So far so good!!

This is my third Jackery. And so far I’m very impressed with it just as I was with my 250 and 1000 watt. The 5000 is going to be put to work running my small woodworking shop and powering our houseboat while out at anchor.

Very happy to with Jackery 5000 plus. Very easy plug-in to my existing manual transfer switch. Zip chat support extremely beneficial online with quick, detailed responses to evaluate product as well as testing procedures after purchase. Plenty of power and storage for essential home back-up at a competitive price. Only suggestion is to enable (provide an adapter) for charging above 15 amps / 1440 watts with a standard 30 amp input plug for dual fuel generator charging without having to buy the smart transfer switch. But there is a workaround using solar and gas generator simultaneously. Purchase is recommended.

The Jackery 5000 plus is well built and survived rough shipping. The wheels make it easy to maneuver considering the overall weight. I would give it 5 stars if the 240 volt 30 amp outlets would continue to work while charging using the 120v inlet such as by a generator.
