I’ve had this for a couple weeks now and I it works great! My 12.9” iPad seems very secure even with the stand at full height. The use of the cloth back on the music stand is a clever space and weight saving measure. It’s not strong enough to hold large method books, but that isn’t something I need. I’m very happy with this stand.
