Beautiful design, but more imperfect than expected
This lamp has a beautiful design and gives off nice a warm light. It’s extremely lightweight, which isn’t necessarily a plus for a lamp, but it makes sense given that it’s 3D printed.
I’m mainly writing this review to provide another example of what a ‘seconds’ lamp can look like since many reviews mention only minor, barely noticeable imperfections. The listing does state that imperfections vary and provides examples of potential flaws, which I understood going in. However, the lamp I received has several noticeable defects: a large hole on one side, a visible separation on the opposite side, a smaller, less noticeable separation, a slightly wavy (uneven) top, and a stand that doesn’t fully seal but is still structurally sound. While I expected flaws, I didn’t see any product images showing a lamp with this level of imperfection, so just be aware that the extent of defects can vary.
That said, I still think it’s a beautiful lamp, and I’m happy with my purchase. I plan to use weld-on plastic glue to reinforce the cracks. If you’re considering a ‘seconds’ lamp, just know that some may have more noticeable flaws than others.
Update:
After posting my review, Wooj reached out to me to confirm that the shade was more damaged than what is typically expected for a 'seconds' lamp, and they believe the damage occurred during shipping. They were very responsive and sent me a replacement lamp shade that arrived in much better shape, and the imperfections are, as others have said, barely noticeable.
I really appreciate their customer service and feel as though this is the true test of a company. Their quick response and willingness to resolve the issue is much appreciated. I truly love the lamp and highly recommend it.
