GLANCE

I stumbled across Glance on Reddit, and was instantly wanting one. I was redoing an extra bedroom to turn into my little man cave, and I had the perfect spot for it. It fit perfectly between two die-cast cases on the wall, and the cord tucked away nicely. I purchased the large screen, and I got it directly from Glance during one of their sales, and it was about $100 cheaper than Amazon. It came in a few days later, and setup was a breeze through the app. I use it mainly for sports, but I do have the weather on it as well. I’m hoping some more real world apps come out soon for it. Right now, it’s just baseball season, so I’m just getting MLB and NASCAR. I can’t wait until The fall for NFL and NCAA football, as well as the NHL. This is really a great device, and with now subscriptions, it is the perfect thing to get your sports fix on.

This was a birthday gift for my husband. He was constantly toggling between checking box scores and working. Now he can keep up with his favorites without a break in focus. Love it!

I’m not sure I’m going to keep it. The resolution is disappointing. I thought the Glance LED would look like the Flightwall mini. When viewed from the same 3-foot distance the Flightwall looks better. I’m still trying to figure out the distance at which the Glance looks best, but due to eye damage I lose clarity the farther away it is. I like the content choices available, but if I can’t read it with some degree of comfort I’m not sure it is worth keeping.
