I had returned a previous purchase due to the arch of the inner sole not hitting in the right spot with my arch. It occurred to me that the removable inner sole could be replaced with one that more suits my fit. It worked like a charm, though it raises my overall purchase another $20. I love the convenience of the zipper as it makes the shoes easily removable for an afternoon nap and easily back on afterwards.

Extremely comfortable walking shoe… But only for short distances

I wore these sneakers around the house when I first received them to make sure they would work. The fit seemed perfect, and the arch support is excellent — plus they’re very cute. I decided to take them out of town and unfortunately they were the only sneakers I brought - they were fine at the airport, but after a fairly long walk (probably 2 miles) I had a blister on top of each big toe. I reached out to Taos and they said it was a “fit issue” and there was nothing they could do… But these are not too small on me. There is something inside that was rubbing for me – even when I wore socks. I do at times have an issue with the big toe on one foot and some shoes, but never on the other foot.

I love these! This is my 2nd pair. They are well made and have excellent arch support which i need. I love the side zip so i dont have to tie or untie them.
