Hear me out

I’ve been purchasing this same pair of flip flops for 10 years now. I juice every bit I can out of each pair and they are very dependable and comfortable. I couldn’t help but notice that the last time I purchased a pair(2021) they were only $54. I can’t understand how a pair a flip flops can go from $54 dollars to $80+ dollars in 5 years? Are the materials that much more expensive? I understand Reef has to make money but my goodness, these aren’t luxury designer flip flops. I’m certain by the next time I need to purchase a pair they will exceed $100, and I can’t justify that. This may very well be the last pair I purchase. I gave a 5 star rating because I sincerely love these flip flops and they have remained a staple in my wardrobe year-round for at least 10 years, one of my all time favorite things to wear.
