This book takes you from start to finish to do portraits. Of course it won't transform you in a wonderful artist right away, but it shows you how to train to achieve this goal. I liked the sort of mental map displayed to make the task of drawing and painting portrait a bit more digestible. The tutorials are amazing but demand high skills to be achieved!

It says ‘Beginner’s Guide" Yes, it contains lots of useful information with beautiful photos and images for beginners, but it is so comprehensive that it is also beneficial for more advanced artists. I’ll use it forpractice and come back to it again and again. It is avery practical and great book !
