Return of a favorite

Hero hotdog buns allowed us to indulge in an east coast / Midwest favorite after moving to the Southwest. Coney dogs are a favorite but almost impossible to find in the west. After seeing your hotdog buns, finding all beef hot dogs and tracking down canned coney sauce, we were able to indulge in a favorite meal at home. Coney dogs with mustard and onions out on the patio in the southwest sunshine. Heaven.

Passes taste test!

Not as soft as a regular hot dog roll but that’s a good thing. It has a denser composition. I prefer these toasted & easily put two hot dogs on one roll. They store well in the fridge or freezer. I do slightly prefer the hamburger rolls over the hot dog rolls though.

Ballpark goodness!

We all agree, if we didn’t tell, no one would guess these are low carb. So nice to eat a hot dog without depriving myself of a bun!
