Another super UGears model. A joy to build BUT to make sure every moving part or surface was sanded and well waxed. On completion some trial and error to get the 'balance spring' to properly align with the impulse pin. The clock is working but does stop after say 30 minutes. Not yet ventured to set the time. I will keep it running and slowly set up the time and see what happens. Congratulations on designing such an intricate model

A very complex build. I had to make a couple of improvements to make it work much better. The escaoement spring was glued at the outer ends and the time adjustment arm has a piece of tooth pick glued on the top to stop the spring dropping out. I glued a small nut on top of the gravity bar which changes the hour. The Tourbillon central pin I shortened and added extra spacers which were greased. I felt that a second support would improve the rotation of the Tourbillon and why only one set of guide wheels. I've managed to get 3 hours 31 minutes without stopping but I think I can improve upon that. Take your time and make sure you use the metal washers and the candle wax sanding is also very important.

Realy tricky build. When it worked, it worked fine, but the hairspring end adjuster slips, and won't maintain the correct position for the escapment release paddle. This results in the assembly going out of phase, and stopping.
