Sinful Smoke

Where is my alimony, lol

I took a chance on this one as a blind buy and it is an amazing winner. It has a strong, sweet cherry opener with a lingering midnote of more cherry and florals. It doesn't really have much smoke to it, maybe just a hint in the dry down. I have to compare it to the original Sinful to really grasp the differences. S.Smoke is more sophisticated, layered, and complex, but not any less cherry than the original. I think I've fallen in love with osmanthus, lol. Also, I've gotten multiple compliments on the smoke version. Side by side, Sinful is a pure, linear sweet cherry with a bit of almond and musk; Sinful Smoke is a more complex, layered cherry-floral with a lot of depth. Sinful is a trust fund baby while Sinful Smoke is a well-to-do ex-wife living off her generous alimony, lol.

Daniel Rene’s bundle is spot on! Such a gteat variety to blend as well.

It’s smoky, but not heavy or overwhelming. There’s a softness to it that makes it really wearable, even in warmer weather. It settles into this warm, slightly sweet, almost “skin after a summer night” kind of scent. Not loud. Not trying too hard. Just… really good. It’s not so strong that you couldn’t wear it during the day if you go light. It layers beautifully too, adds just enough depth without taking over. If you like something a little deeper and moodier, but still soft and approachable, this is a solid pick. Definitely one of my favorites from my order.
