Ripper Cap

Do not have any photos but we received our new 1.5 g jugs Friday morning just in time for race weekend, we fill 2 jugs one with the Ripper cap and the other with the hose cap. My son races Pro/AA here in Colorado surrounding states He was due to pit midway through so I grab the new jug with the new ripper cap and pushed it open to bleed any pressure out and when I released it the entire this falls apart making it completely useless to do fuel out of. Thankfully he ran 1 more lap and the gave us time to get it snapped back together but it does not seal and spilled fuel all over during the pit stop. Our older Rippers have work well for many years and this one didn't make it one trip Was not able to get any pictures while we struggle with the thing.

The ripper cap works great but, the thread doesn't exactly math the new 5 gal cans. The cap used to seal the can goes on and off smoothly but the ripper cam requires some effort to tighten to seal and then loosen. I am 70 years old and notice this kind of mismatch. I would gladly buy this product again so generally a good job!

I’ve been waiting on the ripper cap for a while and it was worth the wait! It works awesome with my tractor. I have a zero turn mower it will not work on it. The mower has a big enough opening but it gets smaller going in the tank. But it works great with my portable generator. If you are getting something for a jd mower get the gas cans with the long tube.
