I've never used U-locks, but this feels sturdy and secure, and I'm very confident in it, and it's security ratings. It also fully clears a 4x4 post with good room to loop a folding lock or cable through, which is awesome. That being said, I'm taking off a star for not including the mounting hardware. It's an $85 lock, they could throw in the mounting bracket and keep the stickers.

Completely satisfied

I have used the product a few times, and I must say that I am much more confident than before. The weight factor was also important for me, as I use it for a bike, and I am very satisfied. I placed the order from Canada, and shipping from the United States was no problem. I didn't have to pay any taxes upon delivery (UPS).

Best option for college campus

This Seaty Lock has saved my daughter’s bike from being stolen at least twice on her college campus. It has cut marks in the plastic coating but the lock itself is holding strong and doing a great job of keeping her bike safe. We have also had 2 cable locks cut that were used in addition to the Seaty Lock, but the bike is still secure. I recommend this lock to anyone that needs a high security lock for their bike.
