Works great, is hassle free, and highly recommended

The TC001 was quick and easy to set up. Just plug it into the USB-C port, download the TopInfrared, and you're good to go. At first, I thought the device would need to be charged prior to use, but I was quite wrong, since it seems like it uses the phone's battery to operate (also, there are no charging instructions in the information leaflet). The TC001 helped me discover missing insulation behind the drywall and an air leak in a corner of the door that I hadn't discovered earlier (I hadn't even thought of that corner as being leaky). Thermal cameras can be quite expensive, and although the TC001 isn't exactly cheap, it is well within a "reasonable" price. 100% recommended.

Exactly what I needed

The Topdon TC001 provided excellent thermal imaging of my residential electrical system and external lighting. It identified hot spots and areas of high resistance. Setup was quick and simple. I was online in under 5 minutes.
