Folding Wall-Mounted Smith Machine

So far I like the versatility of the machine, although the changing up the configuration between movements takes some getting use to. I do have to say the installation was a bit fiddly and is most definitely a two person job. Even though I measure several times and then again for good measure I am a touch off and it is noticeable when installing the Smith Bar. So would I buy it again... Yes.

The folding wall-mounted Smith Machine is very well built and offers a nice/smooth feeling when performing sets. The machine does in fact take up very little space even when I place my bench in front of it. The variety of exercises that can be done with or without the bench is fantastic, but I recommend purchasing the bench to get the most out of your workouts. The only drawback I’ve encountered is the amount of tension delivered. I’m used to exercising with free weights, but since I’m in my 60s, I opted to purchase this machine instead. Since the tension bands that came with my order don’t really offer enough resistance, I plan to purchase more bands. I would highly recommend this machine to others, but not to bodybuilders who are looking to gain size because there is no way to add free weights. Overall, I look forward to using the MF-03 because at my age it will be a safer alternative than using free weights.

It's good just not great

First the good. Easy to install and can be working out in no time at all. I like the ability to fold it in and free up space. It offers a good variety for the price. Now the not so good. Number 16 on the rack is useless since you can adjust up far enough to lock it in. So, it's not the best for lat pulldowns. I would suggest putting it up as far as the instructions allow for when installing. Also, the band ratings are way off, so buy some extras, if you're not a beginner you will need them. Overall, I am not dissatisfied, but I feel it could have been better for the price.
