Thank you, Sunset. I have a long history with Sunset when I meet Mr. Lane from Lane Publishing in 1958 when I worked at an ad agency. After marriage, I think we have been subscribers since 1963. Still a wonderful magazine. My only criticism would be you have decreased the size of text in the articles … I assume to have fewer pages to print.

The magazine LOOKS awesome. How about SOME things tht are affordably accessible? Martin Lawrence Bullard articles were good. I always enjoy garden checklist and Insider. Nevada article was good. How about a clever, easy small how to on name place or simple doable flower arrangement out of grocery store flowers or ?

Sunset magazine has been a fixture in my family for decades. My grandmother first subscribed in the 1960s. As a Virginia transplant to the California she adored, Sunset provided inspiration for our family's travel, food, home decor, crafts, and holiday gatherings. The magazine provided creative ideas without them being fussy or overcomplicated. In the past few years I have seen a major shift, and what is in the magazine no longer speaks to me: It feels very niche and mostly exclusive (though I do appreciate certain features on diverse ideas/food/etc.) I also feel that the offerings listed are too expensive, the recipes too complicated, the decorating ideas too entailed for someone with a busy life. While I am a lover of maximalism, the over-the-top vibe of the entire recent issue (Holiday) did not speak to me at all. Sadly, I will be cancelling my subscription for next year. I had hoped to do it after receiving the latest issues, but read your policies and realized I was too late. I will miss you Sunset magazine!
