Battery Movement

We replaced the movement on my Mom's clock - the original movement kept time, but would chime random hours. Tried all available options for resetting, but nothing worked. Finally decided to replace the movement. It installed failrly easily, but now the hands stop moving after running but the clock continues to chime the quarter and hours. Have not been able to fix this. Unfortunately the clock is at mey 99 year old mother's home in Michigan and I am in California, so I which makes trying to resolve the issue difficult. I will be back in MI later in July and would like to get this working.

It was a good replacement.

Put theclock in the shop.Waiting to see if the part worked out.
