The control did not work or change out of safe mode or work though the menu at all

remote came brand new, the only thing was the brake trigger didnt really feel right, its like i could feel the spring rubbing against the plastic, very annoying and im pretty sure the last time i bought this off evolve Uk site the brake trigger had no flaws.
