Nice holder, a little short
I like the way the holder clips to the kayak seat straps. It’s really short so tall bottles wouldn’t work well. The holder is resting against my thigh and a tall bottle would tip onto my lap. I have a small Martinelli’s apple juice bottle in a rugged plastic instead of glass and it’s perfect for this holder, so that’s how short you can go with your bottle. The pouch even closes over the top of it, keeping it safely stowed. The little side pockets are nice for candies, a few bandaids, sunblock lip balm, or a whistle. Adhering it to the floorboard might be a better way to go if you don’t have a short, apple-shaped bottle.

Works for a small bottle
It's so much better than having my water bottle rolling around in the bottom of the kayak, or clipping it to one of the straps with a carabiner. However, the bottle holder is not very tall. I used a fairly small water bottle, but a larger one would just tip over I think. I used the clips, not the velcro.

The one star is for your dumb email
I live near Chicago, and it’s December. How many kayaking adventures do you think I’ve had in the past week?
