Truly something special
I used to get guan guan cha from West China Tea. When they ran out I was so disappointed as it is an extremely unique tea. Then I found GPT and they had it as well. Anyway this tea can be steeped at really any temperature or even boiled, I personally much prefer it steeped like a green tea at lower temperatures. It has a green tea flavor with lots of berry notes, a menthol like cooling sensation, and a light smokey flavor. One of my favorite teas I've ever drank.

Fresh, astringent, long lasting
Lip-smackingly fresh on first brew, like a young green tea, then upliftingly astringent like grapefruit and bitter melon, but sweeter than that suggests. Superb. So glad to have experienced this tea.
