it still overfill my tank and spilled. it would be nice if you could have retain the center plug. I transport the gas can in sedan type car. I rather not have fill spout sticking up. remove the spout place back the thread insert that came with the cap. there needs to be some sort of retainer so you don't loose the threaded insert in the cap.

The jug works great. No spills and now my friends all want one. Just need a second handle up towards the top, to aid in picking it up.
