Patchwork Zippered Blake Tote

Cute bag!

Love my new zippered Rareform tote. Lots of room (it’s almost too big?). I would have sized down if the smaller bags had a zipper. This bag has an outside zipper and one inside zippered pocket, and multiple slots for glasses, keys, etc. The one drawback I would say is that the bottom needs to be more structured maybe with a hard liner to keep the bag from falling over. This tends to happen when you fill the side pockets with items.

Disappointed - Not for Travel

I have stalked Rareform for years. LOVE the idea, colors and function. Have watched them grow and expand options. I bought the Zippered Blake Patchwork. I’ve been using it on a business trip for all the things you need while traveling, walking - laptop, water, notebook etc. What’s disappointing - especially in summer - are the nylon straps. Yes they’re strong but also cutting into skin when wearing short sleeves, tank top/dresses, lighter fabric, catching skin under arms between the straps. I have other bags but they chose cotton fabric wider more seat belt width and don’t have this issue. In addition I think an addition of a shorter strap for wrist/arm holds while unzipping or getting something out of the bag while standing and without a flat surface would be useful. I’m not returning but won’t be using it to capacity making it too heavy and cutting on my shoulder. Maybe tote for grocery shopping from parking lot to car and back. Shoulder use is out until fall and winter w heavier clothing (maybe) or use when it isn’t full.

I bought this to be my computer/school bag (I am a professor and I ride my bike to school). But this summer I am using it at the pool and on a trip to England. Good size. Multifunctional. I love the pockets inside. I LOVE the patchwork pattern!
