Retro Reformer has some advantages and some disadvantages compared to the studio reformers. We like changing from the straps to the handles on the studio reformers. The Retro only has straps for hands. We put these handles on the Retro and loved it.

Relieved My Client's Hand Pain

Purchased these for a client with arthritis in his hands. The short straps were just too wide and even though they were well padded, they put too pressure on his hands when he grasped them. These handle solved the problem and are significantly more comfortable for him to hold onto. And they switch out quickly and simply.
