Whiteout Perfume

Okay scent, just not for me

First I'd like to preface this by saying I'm extremely picky when it comes to perfumes. I've tried hundreds of samples and have only found 2 that I actually like and will wear. I mostly lean towards gourmands and sweet based scents, but whiteout just wasn't for me. The opening of whiteout smells very strongly of alcohol and a synthetic vanilla-esque scent I can't place. It's not bad, but it's not good either. The dry down for me is extremely powdery, which is a scent profile I'm not fond of. There is a subtle sweetness, and almost a soap-like scent, so the vanilla doesn't shine the way I wish it did. Other than that, the projection was good, not too strong and not too light and the longevity was about 5 hours before it started to fade on me.
