Max Calm

I've only been using the product for about 3 weeks. My TB mare is very quirky and marish. When she goes into season, she's incredibly tough. On the ground she pins her ears, lifts her hind leg and is overall irritable. She hates to be groomed or fussed over. She's also been on various ulcer meds for the last 3 years from my vet. I understand the product has to be a liquid for best results. I find it hard to work with as my mare won't eat it in her feed. (She has always eaten anything I've put in her feed before.) That said, I need to dose with a syringe. I also need to add molasses so she won't fight me to administer it. It reminds me of baby diarrhea, through its consistency, color and smell. It's sticky and messy. All that said, I'm soldiering on to give it a fair trial. I can tell it takes some of the edge off working around her and on a walking trail ride. But, if I put her to work (I foxhunt her, first field, so she needs to be fit), I lose whatever the product initially brought to the table. I'll continue to use the whole jug, then decide if it's worth a reorder.

My 4 year old cow horse mare is very “looky”. Great thing in the cow pen, but somewhat aggravating during every day riding. After max-calm she was easier and more relaxed to ride but still paid attention when asked to do maneuvers. It’s been great for this old retired woman rider as well, as when my mare relaxes I do too!! Loved the follow up call from the company as it helped me better understand the dosing and how it works. Will be ordering again! Thanks

Max Calm just took the edge off and made my mare more able to focus on what I was asking her to do. She tends to be anxious and after just two days on Max Calm, I saw a big improvement.
