I have this pen for a few weeks now and its become my carry pen. It's slightly larger than my Custom 823. Writes smooth every time. I heard a review that said you don't hear about Opus 88 because they do not come out with new pens that often. That's because they don't have to. This one is great.

Opus 88 is my top fav eyedropper fountain pen. I can write for weeks with one ink fill-up! Smooth writing and easy maintenance. It’s perfect. A classy, all-black EDC fountain pen. No brainer. VERY happy.

This is my first Opus 88

This is my first Opus 88, plus my first flex nib, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The Jazz is well balanced either posted or unposted, feels well-made despite being lightweight, and writes like a dream. Although I have nothing to compare it to (so take this with a grain of salt), the flex nib has a pleasing amount of give without being overly soft. I am thrilled with my purchase.
