Fantastic training tool for grip strength and general isometric training, not just for climbing. I like to do finger curls and arm-lifting-type movements but I also use it to track how much force I can generate when doing MVC isometrics. You can use something like an X3 or Harambe bar and floor plate with a gymnastic ring strap, set the Tindeq between the bar and strap, set the strap so you’re contracting stretched muscle, and track your progress over time. It’s a versatile piece of equipment for much more than climbing-specific training. You aren’t supposed to attach carabiners directly to the Tindeq so I use a double-folded 12” climbing sling on either end and attach the carabiners to that. The slings also provide a small amount of give so you get more proprioceptive feedback. I do wish someone made a 3” climbing sling as that would be an easier and cleaner attachment point for the carabiners.
