Functionally it's perfect. I already had the black one bought this one to have something different. The color of mine was more of an off white than a bright pearly white which wasn't a huge deal then The first day I put a cold bottle of water on the side while playing a game and the water left a ring stain on it and the throughout the day it seemed like random black smudges would appear either from my mouse rubbing the black on the tree design or something similar. If you're super neat and organized I'm sure it will work fine but I am not.
