I got this pack to use as a hybrid travel pack and trail pack for a hiking trip to Patagonia. It works perfectly. I love the combination of pockets - for travel everything is handy. For the trail, snacks and water available without taking the pack off. Fit is customizable and I had to stretch it out a bit to make it work, but once adjusted it is rock solid. ventilation is great for long treks. The only thing I would adjust is to make the shoulder strap slightly wider. On 12 mile days, those felt like the only improvement I could suggest. Also love the pass through feature - looking forward to using that for a rifle this fall.
