Typical excellent Luchesse product. I had to send back, however, because there was just a touch too much heel slip. Perhaps the vamp was not quite snug enough, but I don't believe there was a smaller style than the 8D I received. I still continue to order other Luchesse products, however.

I did notice a couple of tool marks / smudges on the hard leathers and also I guess my calves are big because I noticed that the calf area was a little tight but otherwise I am very happy with the boots I feel like I am a part of history and I really like the fact that I’m not going to see a lot of people wearing these boots

The style and materials used are top shelf. The fit is great although just a little tight across the instep. Craftsmanship...excellent. Will definitely go back to Lucchese for the next pair of boots
