PBTfans X-Ray Keycap Set

Really Nice Set

I added these PBTFans X-Rays to an older TKL that I was passing along to a friend and they really invigorated the look and feel of the board. They came packaged really securely -- no scratches or marks. When I installed them, I noticed the fit on the stems was really nice -- no wobble or rattle, just a perfectly tight and snug fit. The legends were really impressive -- the text is sharp, positioned correctly and really consistent from keycap to keycap. I was worried that clear keys would show fingerprints, but thankfully they seem to be really resistant to that. The thickness of the PBT gives a nice sound profile. Combined with the snugness of the stem fit, there's no rattle and just a nice, clean thocky sound from key to key. Visually, this set is super unique and because the color is nice and neutral, I can imagine it would look amazing on basically any build. I feel like clear keys can sometimes look cheap, but these ones are really elegant and sophisticated. I'm giving this set an easy five star rating -- really pleased with this one and may just have to order a second set for myself.

I have been waiting for this to be restocked forever. No wonder this set always sold out. They are very high quality in terms of production. And I have to say it beats GMKs in terms of keycaps packaging, it comes in a very nice stacked box. I love love love this keycaps set so much. For the money and overall quality IMO they are much better than most of GMKs. Cheerio!
