Amiga Tote

The bag is very well made and the wait time wae worth it. I added external pockets which are spatious. It fits my 12oz/355mL coffee container perfectly (circumference is 10in/26cm and diameter is 3.15in/8cm and height is 7in/18cm). My water bottle is similar in circumference and diameter size but feels too tall for the outside pocket to feel secure enough (height is 11.6in/29.5cm). I added a laptop sleeve inside, which fits my 14in/35.5cm laptop plus the laptop sleeve. There are plenty of interior pockets and the bag is tall enough where nothing is sticking out.

Red vs Merlot

This is my second Rather Green bag. I think that the darker red (Merlot) colour looks different on line than on the actual bag. I feel like I should’ve chosen red. Otherwise it is beautifully made!

My go-to Everything Bag

I ordered the amiga tote after visiting the store in Peterborough and seeing the excellent quality of the materials firsthand. I added the laptop pocket so I can use it daily commuting to and from work. I also added the key ring so I can throw my keys in it without having to dig around to find them when I’m at my car. I added flat pockets on the back which are perfect for my cell phones and an emergency rain poncho lol. I also shortened the straps and added the long strap. All great choices to make the bag versatile. I use this to run errands, go to the farmers market, spend a day at the mall or the beach, and even packing for short overnight trips. My large water bottle fits nicely in the outside pockets, and for day trips I can pack everything I need for me AND my two kids. Snacks, knitting project, umbrella, book(s), extra clothes, you name it. The quality of the canvas is unmatched, it literally stands up on its own. Very happy so far 😊
