Excellent research on an overlooked era

Not only was this really well researched, referencing many difficult to find sources, but it was also a very enjoyable read. Top marks

A Modern Classic

I bought the original edition when it came out and rated it very highly then as I do all this series from David Fletcher. It is clear they were written by someone with a love and feel for the subjects. My copy has a prominent place on my bookshelf and is referred to regularly as it is a mine of information on this fascinating period of AFV development. Bought the new version as a Christmas present for someone who does not have a copy. PS it is worth more than five stars!
