Protects nothing
Since it is called a “changing pad” I mistakingly thought I ours change an infant on it and it would protect the surface below. Not so. First time I used it my newborn peed during his change and the pre soaked immediately through the pad and onto the couch I thought it was going to protect. Disaster. A folded up cotton towel is far more effective. What a disappointment and waste of money.
