Another Great Dark Option

I prefer Athletic’s dark beers, and this is my favorite so far. I get two six packs of the All Out stout each month as part of the club, but I would switch to or add this offering if it were to be continually available. I appreciate that it does have genuine recuperative components in it, in addition to its rich flavor. I drink it post work out and when just relaxing in the evening. Keep it coming.

I enjoyed the darker taste of this yet, found myself searching for deeper flavors aside from the prototypical dark beer. I found some minute hints of cocoa and of course some coffee notes. Still, I can't say this offers much more than that, IN MY OPINION. Kinda of tastes like a burnt diet coke to be honest. I won't be buying more of this. But that's just because my pallette didn't enjoy it. If yiu crave darker beers with a more experienced pallette I recommend you give it a shot. Does work great to enjoy after a workout so you don't feel like a train hit you. Highly recommend for that use.

Rich dark brew, nice coffee notes

This brew has a really nice rich flavor, wonderful coffee notes, and the added protein makes it perfect as a pick-me-up after a particularly difficult workout so I can get on with my day and be productive instead of crashing and procrastinating.
