Stellar Value - Good Build
First, I ride bikes a lot, and this bike replaced an older steel-framed quick release-style ride that I’d been upgrading for years. It was a good ride - and got me to dozens of adventures: bike packing, organized rides, daily riding, and the like. However, it was time for a new ride - especially at these prices! Everything on the bike, stock, is acceptable. But I had a few things laying around that I like - MKS pedals with Power Grips (highly recommend), carbon seatpost, Brooks leather seat, and a groovy 50/50 seatpost clamp. I immediately ditched the reflectors and dork disc, converted it to tubeless (you’ll need some tape), and swapped out the ridiculously long stem. I love the bike - I know there are rides with better components but really, I guess I’m just not at that level. However, I ride thousands of miles each year, in all conditions, and all terrain. While I loved my old XTR stuff, the reality was, my XT, and SLX were all awesome too - they just didn’t come with the prestige. The same goes for this group set - it works flawlessly. I do like a single chairing setup, but the double is pretty great, especially when time is spent on the road, gravel roads, and on single track. As for the 10-speed - I’m a fan. I know folks say 12-speed chains are as strong as 10-speed but they certainly don’t seem to be for this 200lb+ rider. Weight: no kidding - it’s heavy - but I’m not entirely sure where that weight is coming from. I guess it’s just a little all over. Mine is an XXL and it weighs in at ~28lbs. I’ve had heavier and lighter. Know that it’s not at all noticeable while riding - road, woods, or otherwise. Overall, amazing cost to value ratio here that will take you anywhere you want - unless you’re one of those super-human types. For us “mortal folks” this bike gets the job done!

Cool bike, great value at 50% off
I am overall pleased with my purchase, I had not bought a brand new bike in over a decade but have purchased 5 -6 used bikes online in that time. The bike was delivered in about 4 days which I was happy about, and since I am fairly confident with working on bikes I was ready to set it up and ride it. Unfortunately, out of all the bikes I have had shipped to me, the box it came in was by far in the worst shape. It was almost ripped in half and punctured in a few places, both rims were bent and not just in need of truing (I took them to a reputable bike shop to reach this conclusion). I reached out to Breezer and was quickly sent a replacement wheelset minus the cassette, tires and rotors. Changing a tube while out riding would be a nightmare cause man these tires are hard to get seated on the rim correctly, soapy water and over inflating it was necessary for me.) The bike also required the front brake caliper to be installed to the frame, screws were in a separate bag within the box. Front derailleur needed some work, would not shift at all, and also the brakes needed some adjusting. (Honestly most of this tuning should probably be expected for any new bike purchase). One thing that bothered me was the crankset was substituted for a FSA one of similar quality and value, but I much prefer the look of the GRX and wanted to match the other components. There is a disclaimer on the specs section of the listing online that I did not originally see. Despite all that, I am pleased with the bike and the service from Breezer. The bike feels really good to ride and has lots of potential for customization and utility with the wide tire/ fender clearance and eyelet mounts all over the place! It’s on the heavier side and I would have preferred to have a couple colors to choose from, but definitely a great value at 50% off! If you are not someone with experience working on bikes I highly recommend having professional bike mechanic assemble the bike as it will almost definitely require some fine tuning and give you peace of mind.

Overall, great bike!
Purchase the bike during Black Friday deals. I have not rode it yet because it’s been raining in the PNW. However, look forward to do so when the weather is nice. Put the bike together was pretty straightforward. Overall, it’s a good looking bike.
