Love everything about it

I bought the Profitec Drive expecting an espresso machine. What I got was a stunningly attractive life partner with excellent temperature stability. Every morning, before I've fully regained consciousness, it's already there waiting for me. Ready. Warm. Patient. Unlike my dogs, who stare at me as if breakfast is a hostage negotiation, the Drive asks for nothing and gives me espresso. Winning! And let's talk about appearance. The Profitec Drive is gorgeous, especially with the olive wood handles. Visitors walk into my kitchen and immediately notice it. Nobody has ever walked into my kitchen and complimented my toaster. What really surprised me is how easy it is to dial in. I had prepared myself for a lengthy period of frustration, self-doubt, and watching YouTube videos at 2 a. m. Instead, within a few shots, I was pulling espresso that made me question every coffee shop purchase I've made in the last decade. Then there's the endless entertainment value. Flow control? Temperature adjustments? Different beans? This machine is basically an espresso laboratory disguised as industrial art. One bag of beans can become ten different experiments. I now spend entirely too much time asking questions like, "What happens if I lower the temperature by two degrees and extend pre-infusion?” Even my milk frothing skill is improving. This is apparently what passes for excitement at my age. Most importantly, the Drive meets my deepest needs: caffeine, consistency, control, and the comforting illusion that I know what I'm doing. Until I change beans. My dogs still love me. My family still loves me. But the Profitec Drive delivers exactly what I want every single morning without any arguments, shedding, or begging for treats.

This machine will outlive me and everyone that I love

Insanely high quality machine, end all the fomo about other machines and just get this as your end game/retirement package. It's so well made that it cheers me up every morning to use it. Steaming milk is incredibly fast. You have so many options with the flow control and pre infusion and other settings that there's plenty to experiment with. Also plumbing it in is great. I got the BWT water filter from WLL to filter my water inline and the passive pre infusion option that it unlocks is great.

Profited Drive is amazing!

Of the three espresso machines I’ve owned, this wins in every conceivable manner when comparing any portion or feature. The stock portafilters are amazingly solid and the water distribution across the group head is astounding. I was dialed in and pulling great shots within 10minutes of things reaching temperature (which was also extremely fast)
