Almost the perfect EDC

I just returned from a trip to Japan with my new Civis Versatile. It was almost perfect for the way and what I need for traveling. The size was just right, and the location of the interior pockets were convenient for the things I used. I had a few folks ask about the bag and a couple took photos of the logo. Even at the end of the day when the bag was fully loaded, it was still comfortable to wear, and I didn't have any problems with it. I did have a grab handle sewn on before purchasing and I would suggest that it be a standard feature. Even a 3/4" flat strap would have worked well. It was easy to grab the bag when it was full, and I couldn't see using it without the handle. If adding a grab handle was not possible, I really don't know if I would have bought it or I would have had to take it somewhere to have one sewn on. I think that a smaller 1-3 L sling bag doesn't need a handle but any bag larger should have one. I did bring another thing up with Kargo Gear after I received it, since I wear it over my right shoulder and low, the strap buckle was right at my shoulder, and I could feel the metal buckle. I did put on a strap padding on which worked. I suggested that the buckle be located down where it connects to the D hook on the bag. The only other thing I would have liked is the front pocket to be more expandable, there's no pleats so, if the other pockets are full, it's difficult to access that pocket. I usually kept my phone there and it was difficult to pull out. James from Kargo was the most helpful when ordering my Civis. He answered all my questions and even added the grab handle I asked about. There was a mix up in the shipping method but, James expedited another bag to me so I could bring it with me on my Japan trip! There was no hesitation on his part at all!! Kargo Gear customer service is A+, you cannot get any better. The bag quality is also very very good, and I love to support the smaller made in America companies. You will not be disappointed to buy a Kargo Gear product. Thank you, James!
