Cotton Sprout® Worsted Solid and Multis

Lovely cotton

This is one of my two favorite cottons to work with for crochet projects. Love the softness of the yarn as well as the drape. Such a great variety of colors in the solids and the solids coordinate well with the multi color options. This cotton works great for shawls, summer tops, and other wearables, but is strong enough to still be used for bags, potholders and other accessories and home decor. Great price for cotton, especially compared to some other brands and the sale prices are usually great. Will continue to buy the cotton and use it for my cotton needs.

My new go-to cotton yarn

Easily became my new favorite cotton yarn. I have used it for knitting baby blankets and crocheting shawls. It worked up beautifully with vibrant colors and is quite soft. I haven't experienced any splitting while either knitting or crocheting and is not stiff so it doesn't hurt my hands when working for longer periods.

Sprouting Great Ideas

I've always used a different cotton brand that is so much thicker & rougher but wanting to make a product softer, thought I'd try the Premier Cotton Sprout Cotton. This yarn is so easy on the hands I couldn't believe it; so soft to touch & glided so nice over my red Tulip hook. It was thinner than I expected so it took a bit to adjust to... then in the long run , it did not work out for my original idea. However, I believe I ordered 20 colors so I've adjusted my thinking & may use them for summer granny stripe bucket hats here in Florida ☀️
