Very nice, but had none of the rose of the sample :0/

I adored my samples of this & pushed the boat out to treat myself. But with my full size bottle there was zero rose detected. Zero. I had three samples & all of them had an obvious sweet & clear rose element. My family could detect it too. Without the rose Velvet expressive was too masculine & dusty, smokey smelling than I'd like on myself, especially as I'd really splashed out to get it. I was advised that the difference could be down to oxidation over time. But I didn't want to wait an unknown amount of time for a fragrance that may or may become like its sample. Such a shame. I did manage to get a refund in the end. But it's left me nervous to buy again. A nice enough, pleasant, soft very masculine fragrance without the rose, but not for me at all. With the rose, the samples of this are Heaven!
