CLOSE - BUT NO CIGAR

The Cacciatore were missing an important ingredient to enhance the flavor - Black Pepper corns. For years, Columbus made delicious ones, but sadly, no longer. I keep looking for authentic tasting Cacciatore, as those I’ve eaten in Italy. Mostly made by local Butchers in Tuscany and elsewhere,

Salami just like pop used to buy.

I’ve been looking for this salami for years. My pop used to buy it in Haledon, NJ. Pop has passed away /10 years now. Finding it and it’s just as good as it used to be, brings back lots of happy memories.
