Custom Cavetown Ukulele

My daughter was so excited to get this Cavetown ukelele with case for her birthday, but the case was too small (due to the guitar-style top having all 4 pegs on one side), one of the pegs made a grinding sound when tuning, and it fell out of tune quickly. I contacted Cavetown and they requested photos (of the uke & case to show it didn't fit) and video with audio (of the grinding peg). I sent the photos & video, and they said they were sorry the case didn't fit and agreed that the peg should not grind; however, they were out of stock and didn't plan to get more, so I could return it. My daughter wanted to keep the uke as a Cavetown fan, but will not be able to play it/take it places as a musician. I asked if they could at least provide a case that fit since it was a package deal and part of the price we paid, but they said sorry, no. Very disappointing. The 2 stars are for the appearance of the uke (exactly as expected - yay!) and I appreciated the politeness of the Cavetown merch rep.
