First off - customer service was excellent and hats off to this NZ company for making things right after a technical mishap! So A++ customer service on that front.
The fact that these shoes are fully domestically compostable (and tested by Business Insider to prove so against others), B-Corp and not ridiculously expensive or impractical as shoes is no mean feat. That alone is worth some big praise!
I wear custom insoles for my super flat feet and ordered a size up by foot length which fits perfectly. Unlike some shoes, these still have some cushion to them with the cork insoles removed so super comfy for all-day wear with insoles which is very important for me. The materials are quite burly as other reviewers note - durable which is good, but suspect it will take a wee while to break them in. Will be interesting to see how the soles go given they don't have a tonne of visible tread - no issues so far though!
They seem like a great pair of shoes and I've loved wearing them - the comfort and sustainability are the main draws for me, with tread and burly materials being a little nitpicky but not deal breakers. Please make more styles!
