Panda Drum® • Pro

I love it, but a couple of days after it arrived, I had surgery, and I'm not supposed walk around much or lift anything heavy. When I'm free of the stitches I'll be able to give it a place of it's own, and start to play!!

I am the mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother of numerous Yoga practitioners and meditators! They were amazed when I brought this to a family gathering,( mostly because I’m the ‘over-talker’ in the family and they did not anticipate such a calming gift! ) My guitar playing grandsons are going to convert some of my favorite tunes to the panda drum notes, so I can play along with them! And they will print them much larger than the song book that came with my drum, as my vision is not very ‘sharp’ any more ( pun intended! ) Thanks for asking!

I like my panda drum pro. The only two drawbacks I have concerning the drum itself are that I wish the drum also had the actual notes printed on the drum not just sticker numbers. Secondly, C# 4 which is the 7 with the dot underneath sounds exactly like D4, which is the number 1, but these are supposed to be two different notes. I am not at all pleased with panda drums customer service. I saw a deceptive advertisement for the drum stating that the panda drum is for sale for $99. The drum pictured with that $99 offer was the panda drum pro so logically I thought the panda drum pro was on sale for $99. When I clicked the button to purchase the drum, it gave me an automatic additional percentage off. When the payment went through, it ended up being for $244.36! When I contacted customer service, they did not honor their advertisement, and they told me that only one discount is offered at a time which makes sense to me, but I did nothing to apply for this additional discount; rather when I clicked the button to purchase, it came up automatically. To date, customer service has still not responded to my most recent email. Bottom line – the drum is OK but be careful because the advertising is deceptive!
