I'd started on guitar with a cheap classical guitar, so now I see how a guitar can really sing. I had to get used to the slightly narrower neck but now coming to realize advantages outweigh disadvantages for these fat little fingers. Did tighten the truss rod a quarter turn bringing the action down a little and still no buzz. Only been playing sitting down for a few days, but I'm feeling it's time to put on the strap and take her on standing up. Lovin' it!

Ava Nylon String purchase review
There is so much to love about the Ava Nylon String guitar. I was looking for som e very specific features in a nylon string guitar and this Orangewood Ava Nylon checked All the boxes. It has ; A fretboard radius of 15-16 inches Solid cedar top with solid mahogany back & sides Satin finish No attached pick guard ( always preferred for me) Nice fretboard inlays (hard to find on nylon guitars) Great tone and sustain All that for less than $1000 ! It’s a real “Unicorn” and I love It !

This is a nice crossover classical guitar at an affordable price, with a build quality and playability that is outstanding. I purchased it to learn and play fingerstyle. The 48mm nut width and curved neck radius make it an easier transition from a standard acoustic guitar into classical. Buying direct from the manufacturer with their great customer service, brings a level of confidence that you won’t get by purchasing through other channels.
