The bed does feel soft because the faux fur is long but it is not very dense and the cheap backing fabric is clearly visible. There is a bald patch where pooch dribbles. It has a very thin layer of padding on the base of the bed which is better than some sofa beds that have none but not enough to make it comfortable on a hard floor. I have washed it twice as pooch was sick on it and it has washed well so far. In short it a useful soft sofa cover that is a good size but I do think it is overpriced for what it is. I would prefer a short dense faux fur like the bed I bought from Aldi for £14.99.
