Up Dog

Mostly love...

We purchased the Up Dog for our lab, who loves the water as much as we do. Overall, it's been a fantastic addition, but I have ONE issue. The netting inside isn't heavy enough and floats to the top of the water, making it difficult for our 90 lb lab to "catch" his front legs and help him up to the platform. If no one is in the water to hold it down, we stand in the boat and use an oar to keep it pushed down. I'd suggest adding a small weight to it in order to keep from constantly floating up, especially if using it in a lake that has a bit more boat traffic causing some bigger wakes.

Perfect addition to our boat

We purchased this to put on the back or our boat to help our dog get in and out of the water in all depths. It also stops her from scratching the boat. It worked perfect and fit right between the motor and edge of the boat allowing her to come and go. She loves it. She is a lab and loves the water, so giving her access to the water makes for the best lake days! She is a very timid dog but was not scared of it at all and almost instantly knew it was for her to do her favorite thing, swim.

Easy set up. takes a little bit of training, but it is so much better than having to reach down and pull her out of the water or get scratched up.
