Petty - Walnut

Absolutely gorgeous knives. I was very surprised at how lightweight they are. The wooden handles are beautiful and best of all, made in Canada. I am very pleased with this purchase

I really enjoy the feel of the Petty knife. The light, slim feeling is exactly what I was looking for. I also have the Santoku and the Petty is a perfect compliment to this knife. Beautiful craftsmanship in both the blade and the handle. The acute angle of the grind makes these knives perform slicing tasks at a level beyond what are capable with my German chef’s knives. I would suggest that an information folder be included on knife care. The handles on my two knives are not “sealed” and I think will require waxing or wood “butter” from time to time to maintain appearance. Also blade steels on these types of knives are much harder than those of German steels and, as such, care should be taken so as not to chip them. Extremely happy with this product and I wish this company every success.
