Summarized by Shop
The LimCube Hexagram Octahedron is a crazy invention that mixes the turning of a 3x3 with a skewb. That means there are more turns here than are immediately obvious. Give it a shot and see what you think!

Fun solve, needs some work first
You're gonna need to put some decent effort into making the puzzle workable before you scramble it. The turning is pretty rough out of the box, so it requires a good bit of breaking in, and the factory stickers are very poor quality, so you'll have to get those replaced (I recommend ordering a set from Chewie's Custom Puzzles). There's also the issue that sometimes you get V-Cube 6 style lockups while turning and you'll need to do a full turn along one of the skewb axes to fix it. The solve is pretty entertaining, though, it's definitely worth working through those problems to be able to use the puzzle. This isn't a super hard puzzle (I'd probably compare the difficulty to a mixup cube), which makes it a good introduction to hybrid twisty puzzles. I would recommend buying this puzzle if you're willing to put in the work to make it usable.
